Release the seats you weren’t going to fill.
Carte is a Dallas dining app. A guest picks the night, the time, the party size and the price range — and we pick the room. They learn the neighbourhood four hours out and the address one hour before they sit down.
We are only after your quiet hours: the seating before the rush and the one after it. If those seats sell, you are paid for covers you would not otherwise have had. If they don’t, they come straight back to you.
The arrangement
- You choose the seats. Which nights, which window, how many covers. Two four-tops at 5:30 on Tuesdays is a perfectly good answer.
- You hold them in your own book. The block sits in whatever system you already run, under a Carte house account. Nothing to install and nothing to switch.
- Unsold seats come back. Anything we haven’t filled is released to you at the hour you choose — two hours before service is the usual answer.
- Your no-show policy is the policy. We hold a card for every guest and mirror your rules — your amount, your basis, your window. If you charge nothing, we charge nothing.
- Late is late. If a Carte guest is more than fifteen minutes past the seating and hasn’t called, the table is yours again.
- The first ten covers are free. After that it is a flat per-cover rate set by price band, shown to you in writing before you sign anything. No monthly fee, no contract term, no exclusivity.
We have it.
You’ll hear from us within two business days — a one-page agreement with your per-cover rate, and a time to walk through the first week if you want one.
If it’s faster to just talk, we’re at hello@cartedining.com.
